The school LRC being an integral part of the institution provides quality information to meet the educational needs of the LRC clienteles. This can only be attained if every user knows the proper use of the LRC.

 

Library Orientation

 

        Orientation on rules and regulations, services and use of library resources are being conducted at the beginning of the school year to all high school students, faculty and non-teaching personnel. For students orientation is being conducted during English period.

 

Library Period

 

         The success and effectiveness of the library depend on the resources and services it offers. On the other hand, the exhaustive use of the library resources depends on the skill of manipulating the tools necessary in locating required information from the library resources. The LRC has the responsibility to train students develop these skills.

 

        Every quarter, lectures on how to use reference materials (encyclopedias, dictionary, almanac, atlas, maps and globes), parts of the books, different sections of the library, arrangement of the books on shelves, the Library of Congress Classification, the card catalog and catalog cards, locating books from the shelves, how to make bibliography, etc. are also provided .
